  80.           Altough these files left my computer virus FREE, they easily can pick
  81. up a virus as they travel from BBS to BBS. To protect your computer you should
  82. always test EVERY download for viruses using a VIRUS SCANNER before opening it
  83. onto your harddrive. To discourage viruses and trojans, a "FILE CHECK" section
  84. has been included. If the size of your files no not match the size listed ,
  85. delete all files immediatly and contact the sysop of the bbs you downloaded it
  86. from or the person with the infected computer you got it from. If the files do
  87. match ,that still is no guarantee that they are virus free...:->

  100.               Welcome to Caverns of Chaos. This is a D and D  type
  101.   text adventure.I wrote this adventure in Quickbasic and compiled
  102.   it with Microsoft Quickbasic 4.5 compiler. Caverns Of Chaos is
  103.   shareware and if enjoyed should be registered.

  105.                This is the first time I've written anything in Basic,
  106.    so with only two months experence there are bound to be some errors.
  107.    I welcome any and all comments (even nasty ones) especially from
  108.    Quickbasic programmers.

  110.                This program was written using only: Print,Input,Locate,
  111.    Goto,Color,Randomize and a few Do: while loops. There are no graphics
  112.    yet AS I'm having trouble with the Get and Put statements. The more I
  113.    edited this program the more I learned. The more I learned the more I
  114.    wanted to re-edit...

  123.              Caverns of Chaos is a text adventure DND type game.You are a
  124.  citzen of Pandaris, a small island somewhere in the Atlantic. Your Kingdoms'
  125.  royal couple has been 'King and Queen-napped '.Being a brave person you
  126.  take matters into your own hands after the first search party fails to return.
  127.  You must find the royal couple and return them safely to Pandaris.

  129.               Your adventure takes you to Manhatas, another small island
  130.  located nearby.You must enter the 'Caverns of Chaos' and find the troll'
  131.  Landaris'.He alone knows where they are hidden.

  134.                Caverns of Chaos is a fun, easy to play text adventure.It is
  135.  the first of three adventures.Keep your eyes open for Caverns Of Chaos II:

  148.               This is a very simple game to play. First make sure you have
  149.    your caps lock on. All the words you input  MUST  be in all  CAPITALS.
  150.    You may input any words that are enclosed in  [BRACKETS] as well as
  151.    YES or NO. You may also easliy  QUIT from almost any prompt.

  154.              Caverns Of Chaos is written more like an interactive story
  155.    so no real experence is needed to play. A brave adventurer can finish
  156.    Caverns in one or two evenings. Humor and commom sense dictate this
  157.    game NOT strength AND spells.

  229.    fee. Although you do not get a copy on disk, you are a fully registered
  230.    user of Caverns Of Chaos.
