- SORTTLX.EXE
-
- Have you ever wanted to move the directory listings around
- but don't want to lose the record of the number of calls
- or the last date that was entered for that line ?
-
- Well if you make a new entry and delete the old one, that's
- just what will happen.
-
- With SORTTLX, you can move them around and keep the record
- intact.
-
- The default datafile name is TELIX.FON. If you have a backup
- or a directory with a different name, specify that name on
- the command line. IE:
-
- C:\> SORTTLX TELIX2.FON
-
- This is a simple program and does not format the displayed
- data lines. Only a portion of each line is displayed.
- To move a single line, first scroll around with PgDn & PgUp
- to decide what line to move. Then decide what line you want
- it on. Press the M key, specify the line to move, & press
- the enter key. Now specify the destination line.
-
- You can move them around as much as you want. If you get to
- where you wish you didn't move it, simply press the R key &
- all the changes disappear. (That is if you didn't write the
- changes back by pressing the W key.) Once you press the W
- key, the changes are instantly saved back to the disk.
-
- The sort key will sort the entrys alphabetically. This sort
- was an after-thought. The real pupose is to move a single
- line where you want it.
-
- If you have moved anything, and try to quit without saving
- the changes, you will be prompted to exit anyway or cancel
- the exit.
-
- I really need to know how the program is working for you &
- would like to hear from all the users and if there are any
- problems with the program. I welcome all suggestions.
- No registeration is required. If you like the program, and
- have a generous heart, please send a donation.
- ( $1 to $5 will do.)
- Thanks.
