  1.                         REGISTRATION FOR WCL
  2.                         --------------------
  3.    Please note: you need to fill the registration form in the file
  4.    ORDER.FRM (or the one in your help file). Please NOTE that you
  5.    NEED to specify exactly what version of WCL you currently have,
  6.    otherwise your registration serial number may be invalid.
  7.  
  8.    There are 4 LEVELS of registration;
  9.  
  10.    1. STANDARD REGISTRATION: ú18 (Sterling), or $26 (US)
  11.    ------------------------------------------------------
  12.    When you register your copy of WCL, you will be sent a SERIAL
  13.    NUMBER and a code which you will apply to your copy to convert
  14.    it into a registered version. This will;
  15.      [a] remove all registration reminders
  16.      [b] register your copy of WCL to you
  17.      [c] also enable you to freely register all releases up to the next
  18.          major upgrade, without reference to me, and without any charge
  19.          (minor upgrades are numbered in .01 increments, while major
  20.          upgrades are number in .10 increments, and require a 50%
  21.          upgrade fee). Basically, you should feel free to obtain and
  22.          apply the code to all releases, until the code stops working.
  23.      [d] when you type "VER", you will see your SERIAL NUMBER, and
  24.          your NAME (as the registeree) - this is the information that
  25.          you must use to register subsequent releases.
  26.      [e] entitle you to on-line support (via e-mail) for the program
  27.

  29.    2. OPTIONAL EXTRA: ADD  ú3 (Sterling), or $4.50 (US)
  30.    ----------------------------------------------------
  31.    If you would prefer to be sent the most current version of WCL
  32.    by UU-encoded e-mail (instead of just a serial number and code),
  33.    this can be done - but you will need to pay an extra fee of ú3.00
  34.    (or $4.50 (U.S.) - meaning a total of  ú21 (Sterling), or $30.50 (US)
  35.    With this optional extra you still get a serial number and a
  36.    registration code which you can use as described above.

  38.    NOTE: that the UU-encoded file is VERY large (about 680kb) - so please
  39.    ensure that your mail system can handle files of that size.

  42.    3. CARRIAGE AND HANDLING: ADD  ú3 (Sterling), or $4.50 (US)
  43.    -----------------------------------------------------------
  44.    If you would prefer to be sent the most current version of WCL
  45.    on a floppy disk, by POST, you will need to pay an extra fee of
  46.    ú3.00 (or $4.50 (U.S.) to cover handling and carriage - meaning
  47.    a total of  ú24 (Sterling), or $35 (US).

  49.    With the floppy disk option, you still get a serial number and a
  50.    registration code which you can use as described above. You will also
  51.    get an unformatted copy of the WCL HELP file as a Windows Write .WRI
  52.    file.

  55.    4. SITE/NETWORK LICENSE
  56.    -----------------------
  57.    If you are using WCL on a network, a you MUST obtain network
  58.    license if the program is going to be made available to more than
  59.    1 user. Networks/Site licenses are priced for the STANDARD
  60.    registration fee, multiplied by the number of uses (up to 40), but
  61.    with generous discounts, which increase according to the number of
  62.    users.

  64.    Purchasers of Network or Site licenses will receive a specially
  65.    compiled version of WCL, which clearly states the number of people
  66.    licensed to use the program. If you do not have this special version,
  67.    you can be SURE that you do NOT have a network or a site license.

  118. GO SWREG, the Registration ID for Standard Registration is 3445; If you
  119. are registering with the Optional Extra (diskette by post) the Registration
  120. ID is 3429.

  122. 2. You might want to use a registration site which is local or close
  123.    to you, and with whom you can register in your own local currency.

  127. 3. If outside the U.K. and you wish to send your registration fee to me
  128.    in the U.K., please send a cheque or an International Money Order
  129.    drawn out in STERLING only. Otherwise, if sending a cheque that is
  130.    drawn out in currency other than Sterling, then please add ú3 to
  131.    cover U.K. bank charges).

  133.    This means for example that if you are sending a cheque drawn out
  134.    in U.S. dollars, you need to add an extra $4.50 to cover U.K. bank
  135.    charges (i.e., US$30.50).

  138. 4. If you specify that the transmission of your registered copy should
  139.    be by UUENCODED E-MAIL, there is NO CHARGE for handling and carriage
  140.    in respect of the OPTIONAL EXTRA. However, if you want your
  141.    copy to be sent to you on a diskette, please ADD ú3 (Three Pounds
  142.    Sterling, or the equivalent in the currency in which you are paying)
