YOU ARE IN LEGAL SEARCHER
You have selected the first in a series of files.
The file you loaded is insearch.txt. Type the
word "the" and press the "Search Topics" button.
Click on a topic.

TITLES
Notice the "T" button next to the 'binoculars'.
Press the button and a "t" appears. Press 'Search
Topics' again. Click on a line.
You have changed from viewing the document
according to chapter titles to viewing the
document according to text. Change back to Titles
and click on the first line to return here.

RULES CONCERNING TITLES
If you search for the word 'the':
t - you get all the occurrences of the word
'the'.
T - you get all the Chapters that contain the
word 'the'.
Having searched according to 'T'; change to 't' and
click a title, you get the first occurrence of
the word 'the' in the Chapter.
Having searched according to 't'; change to 'T' and
click a text line, you get the chapter that
contains the word 'the' if it is on the same page.

TITLE DELIMITERS
Select "Options, Title Delimiters" from the main
menu. Notice the "---" is the delimiter and the
title occurs on the next line. This where you
set the configuration for each document. This is
automatically saved.

HELP
Next to "the" you typed, are several check boxes.
Move your mouse over the titles and look above
the main document to find out what they do.

SEARCHING
In the example, the word "the" will match "the",
"their". "THE", etc.. unless you narrow the search
using the check boxes.
In the "File, Preferences" menu set the Font and
Point size for easy viewing of the document.

FILES
Browse through the rest of the files then click
the 'File Folder' button. To remove my files
double-click on the file names in the box at the
bottom. Then proceed to select your own documents.
