  1. # This is a sample font mapping file for converting Word for
  2. # Windowsdocuments into Works for DOS.  In order for this file
  3. # to be used by the converter, it should be renamed
  4. # RTF_WWP.DAT.

  6. # Each line of this file describes how a particular Word for
  7. # Windows font should map to a Works for DOS font during the
  8. # conversion.  The syntax for each entry is:

  10. # <FontName>;<PCWorksFont#>

  12. # <PCWorksFont#> is the font number associated with a
  13. # particular PC Works font.  <FontName> is the name of the
  14. # Windows font you want to replace with the font defined by
  15. # <PCWorksFont#>.  It is separated from the <PCWorksFont#> by
  16. # a semicolon.  In this sample file, the standard PC Works
  17. # font names are included at the end of the line following a
  18. # pound symbol(#).  The pound symbol marks a comment in the
  19. # file and that line will be ignored by the converter.

  21. # As an example, suppose you are using the Windows' Postscript
  22. # printer driver and you would like to customize how the
  23. # NewCenturySchlbk font gets mapped when converting to MS
  24. # Works for DOS.  If you are using the Works for DOS
  25. # POSTSCRP.PRD printer driver then you will probably want that
  26. # font to become NewCentSchlbk.  For POSTSCRP.PRD,
  27. # NewCentSchlbk has a font number value of 25.  In the table
  28. # below, the following entry should be made (without the
  29. # comment marker, '#', at the start of the line):

  33. # This entry tells the converter to use font #25 in place of
  34. # NewCenturySchlbk whenever it creates a MS Word for DOS file.
  35. # It is important for the font to be spelled in the font
  36. # mapping file exactly as it is in Windows.  It is also
  37. # required by the converter that the entry be made in the
  38. # correct alphabetical order based upon the <FontName>.  In
  39. # this example file, this entry would be inserted between the
  40. # entries for Modern & Palatino.  The comment at the end of
  41. # the line is not needed and is only included as a reminder of
  42. # what font #25 is in Works for DOS.
