The Government (Presidential) Palace in Peru is located in the capital city of Lima in Plaza de Armas which is also inhabited by a cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace, the Union Club, and various stores. The central bronze fountain was built in 1650.
A ceremonial changing of the guards takes place here every day at 12:45.
