OCR: A MESSAGE Page 1 of 1 WHY BOTHER DOING A SPECTRUM DISK MAG? My first computer was a 48K SPECTRUM PLUS. I used it for games and was instantly hooked, I bought hundreds of games in the space of three years, my favourites were; Commando, Highway Encounter, Zynaps, Moon Cresta and a load of other games that I cannot remember , One day I went into Comet's and saw a 1.2 Amiga A500 running some demos and was so impressed that I paid £500 for one, Again I used it for games. When I upgraded to an Amiga A500 PLUS I began to use it more seriously (DPAINT III, KINDWORDS). Now I've got a A1200, HD, CDROM etc and recently found a Spectrum emulator and some games- NOSTALGIA ALERT- now I'm back to square one, you don't forget your first love do you? I found Issue 1 of The ZX Files on 17 bit software's new CD, contacted ZX and was invited to get involved. The Spectum emulator is now very popular on Amiga and PC. The ZX SPECTRUM LIVES ON !!
