OCR: Action Replay THE ULTIMATE GAME BUSTER ACTION REPLAY PC From Advanced Console THEBOX Technologies LEVELS POWER LIVES The Action Replay Card from ACT is an incredible piece of hardware for the hardcore gamer. Action Replay is to the PC what the Game Genie is for the game machine. With the Action Replay you can ad just the settings of any numeric value in just about any game, save any game at any place, or even do your own screen captures . But, my favorite feature is the "slomo", for slowing down those intense combat games . Action replay was fairly easy to install. The only problem I had was with QEMM. If you are running QEMM with defined regions and command extensions, take them out . Other than that, the installation was simple. You can ad just the address settings and 10 adresses using the dip switches on the card . In 15 minutes I was up and hacking away at games Using the Action Replay, you can change the settings on defined numbers . You can add more lives, more money, or any other numbered setting . But, you are limited to 99 of whatever you select . Finding the spot to change these settings can also take a while . The procedure is complex and can be time consuming . Another of the Action Replay's features is the ability to save any game at any place . This feature takes a snapshot of your memory and saves it to disk. Although disk intensive, it comes in handy for games that force you to start a level over again every time you save . Also, you can't make Forward Menu Back Exit
