  2. Hotshot Type 1 PostScript Font

  4. Here is a font I╒ve been mucking around with that is based
  5. on scans from a 1930s sign-painting manual. It╒s more an
  6. experiment than anything else, but it looks nice, I think,
  7. for short titles or display art used 18 points or larger.
  8. There╒s only a 24-point bitmap because I assume that you,
  9. like me, use ATM and wouldn╒t try using Hotshot at 10
  10. points (it would be foolish). Hotshot is free and can be
  11. given to anyone as long as you don╒t mess with it or remove
  12. this Readme file. Hotshot was created in Fontographer 3.1;
  13. if anyone out there wants to change or improve it, please
  14. send me a copy and let me know first (I╒ll even send you or
  15. upload you a copy of the original Fontographer file if you
  16. like). Thanks. Companies like Educorp are welcome to
  17. distribute this font ONLY IF they send me a free copy of
  18. the disk they sell it on.
