  2. Scriptorium Font Library
  3.  
  4.         The Scriptorium Font Library is a
  5. collection of fonts designed by Dave
  6. Nalle of Ragnarok Games for use in
  7. their publications.  These fonts have
  8. just been made available by mailorder
  9. or as shareware from Ragnarok.
  10.         Provided here is an up to date
  11. listing of all the font disks available at
  12. this time.  Each disk includes at least
  13. 10 fonts, which are fully registered
  14. when you purchase the disk.
  15.  
  16. SFL-1001: Font Sampler I
  17.         This disk includes 3 text fonts, 3
  18. calligraphic fonts, 3 display fonts and
  19. 3 specialty fonts taken from our
  20. original series of font disks.  It
  21. includes our very popular Taranis font
  22. as well as the new FABLIAUX font, the
  23. medieval calligraphic fonts Bastarda
  24. and Courthand, plus two fonts from
  25. the Ysgarth role-playing game and the
  26. uniquely mystical Goetic font based
  27. on 18th century magical scripts.  $15.

  30. SFL-1002: Font Sampler II
  31.         This contains a new variety
  32. selection of fonts, including text,
  33. display, decorative and calligraphic
  34. fonts taken mostly from our second
  35. series of font disks.  $15.  Update $5.

  37. SFL-2001: Text Fonts
  38.         This contains 10 unique serif and
  39. sans-serif fonts which meet the high
  40. resolution demands of all text uses.
  41. The collection includes some elegant
  42. traditional fonts (both serif and sans-
  43. serif) like our Tancred and Palomides
  44. fonts, plus some very unusual
  45. offerings like the Kelmscott font based
  46. on William Morris' Troy font from the
  47. Kelmscott edition of Chaucer's works.

  50. SFL-2002: Text Fonts II
  51.         This collection includes ten great
  52. new text fonts, including 5 serif and 5
  53. sans serif fonts.  It will be available in
  54. the summer of 1993 for $15.  Update $5.

  56. SFL-3001: Display Fonts
  57.         This disk features 10 attractive
  58. display fonts, including several art
  59. nouveau and medieval styles, plus a
  60. couple of unusual special use fonts.
  61. Our favorites are the Starfield font,
  62. which looks like a scattered field of
  63. stars, the Buccaneer font, drawn from
  64. 17th century wanted posters and the
  65. Ariosto and Elysian fonts based on
  66. hand drawn fonts of the Munich
  67. Jugendstil movement of the 1890s.
  68. Because these are display fonts they
  69. may not all include both upper and
  70. lower case letters, but they include all
  71. characters which are available and we
  72. will expand the character sets as we
  73. continue to work with them.  $15.

  76. SFL-3002: More Display Fonts
  77.         This disk features 10 new display
  78. fonts, including a number of
  79. interesting renaissance styles, plus
  80. some early modern book styles and
  81. decorative initials.  It will not be
  82. available until the Spring of 1993.

  85. SFL-4001: Calligraphic Fonts
  86.         This disk includes a variety of
  87. calligraphic fonts, including several
  88. Celtic-style fonts, fonts based on
  89. medieval and renaissance calligraphy
  90. and calligraphy from several 19th
  91. century art nouveau designers.
  92. Because these are based on genuine
  93. calligraphy they may not include all
  94. the characters you may expect and
  95. may include specialty characters or
  96. strange alternate forms for some
  97. letters.  $15.  Update $5.
  98.  
  99. SFL-4002: More Calligraphic Fonts
  100.         This disk includes a variety of
  101. medieval English, French and Italian
  102. lettering styles plus several Eastern
  103. European styles.  It will be available in
  104. the Spring of '93. $15.  Update $5.

  106. SFL-5001: Specialty Fonts
  107.         A collection of fonts for
  108. languages which don't use the English
  109. alphabet, including both obscure real
  110. world and historical languages and
  111. role-playing game world languages.
  112. Check out the Coptic and Futhark
  113. fonts if you want something really
  114. different.  Oh, and did you say you
  115. were going mad because you couldn't
  116. decorate your computer-generated
  117. icons without Church Slavonic?  Well,
  118. try Patriarch.  It reads in English, but
  119. looks like Church Slavonic.  $15.

  122. SFL - 6001: Decorative Fonts
  123.         A special assortment of art fonts
  124. where each letter is a decorative initial
  125. or small picture.  It includes several
  126. illuminated manuscript alphabets, a
  127. set of Arthurian miniatures, a
  128. collection of map decorations, a font
  129. of art nouveau faces and some Art
  130. Nouveau floral motifs.  This disk is not
  131. yet available, but it can be advance
  132. ordered for $15.

  134. UPDATE POLICY
  135.         Each of our font disks is updated
  136. with new versions at least once every
  137. three months, with updates being
  138. released on the first of January, April,
  139. July and October.  If you send in your
  140. original disk and $5 we will update
  141. you with the latest versions of all the
  142. fonts on that disk.  Most of our fonts
  143. are brand new, so expect pretty
  144. substantial changes with some of the
  145. updates over the next year or so.
  146.  
  147. SHAREWARE NOTE
  148.         Support shareware.  If you see
  149. our disks being circulated as
  150. unregistered copies (without our
  151. shareware notice), let us know...or let
  152. the culprit know that you dont'
  153. approve.  These fonts are too damned
  154. cheap for anyone NOT to pay their
  155. shareware fee or order them on disk.
