The excruciating pain of overindulgence flowed through my body like a throbbing pulse, I wished to God that I had not woken up. I made the immense effort of opening my eyes. I saw only black. I paniced for a few seconds, thinking that I may have gone blind, before I came to my senses and realised that my light was turned off. I tried to turn on my lamp, but I found that I could not move my arm. Boy, I must have really gone overboard last night. I turned my thoughts to the events of the previous night, I strained to remember, but with each thought came a reverberation of my splitting headache.
