Hwange National Park
Hwange is located in the northwest section of Zimbabwe, along the border of Botswana. It is Zimbabwe's largest park and home to over 100 species of animals and over 400 species of birds. The park includes a number of habitats including Kalahari sandveld, mopane woodland, river courses and pans. The waterholes found throughout the park support the rich wildlife and may reward you with views of lion, elephant and hippo. This is also one of the primary sanctuaries for the African elephant.
