Keyboard Accelerators by Qualifier
Here the keyboard accelerators of Probe are presented grouped by functionality. Help on keyboard accelerators is available from within Probe when using the Accelerator Guide.
Many keyboard accelerators are invoked by pressing one or several of 'Ctrl', 'Alt', 'Shift' together with some other key. The syntax
Ctrl Shift C
indicates holding down the Ctrl and Shift key at the same time as C.

| Spacebar | Toggle selection state of file at cursor |
| Enter | Open file at cursor with default program |
| Delete | Move selected files to the recycle bin |
| Num+ | Select files using wildcards (Numeric keypad plus) |
| Num- | Deselect files using wildcards (Numeric keypad minus) |
| Tab | Activate the companion browser |
| F2 | Edit filename at cursor |
| F4 | Open file at cursor as text |
| F5 | Copy selected files to companion browser |
| F6 | Move selected files to companion browser |
| F7 | Make a new subfolder in current folder |
| F8 | Move selected files to the recycle bin |
| F9 | Display information on current selection |
| F10 | Open the path dialog (explicit path) |
| Shift Num+ | Select all folders |
| Shift Num- | Deselect all folders |
| Shift arrows | Select a range of files |
| Shift C,D,... | go to drive C:,D:,... |
| Shift Tab | Goto the folder under the cursor in the companion browser |
