Getting
in
 Admissions
requirements
To
qualify for admission, you must be a man and must be able to read
and write Latin, the language of scholarship. All lectures and textbooks
are in Latin. The University assumes that you already will be a
cleric when you arrive at the University. (Most clerics
here at the university are members of the minor orders of clergy,
including lectors, acolytes, doorkeepers, and exorcists.)
Women
are not admitted to the University. Women interested in advanced
learning are urged to consider joining a convent.
Tuition
and fees
Our
masters set their own fees, which the students pay directly to them.
Students are urged to ensure that their source of funding is secure.
Financial aid is available from various sources. The Church often
arranges for promising scholars to attend the University. Patrons,
such as wealthy noblemen, sometimes will provide funds for those
who cannot afford to attend.
