Episode #2: "The Wedding Night"

Cathie and Antonio lay asleep in their bed in the Honeymoon Suite at the Beverly Hills Hotel. Antonio was an incredibly talented lover, and tonight he had performed like never before. The newlyweds lay in each other's arms in blissful slumber, unaware of what was going on in the hallway outside their room.
Steve and Taylor, his most trusted friend, were arguing. Steve, having recovered his faculties to the point where he could now walk and talk, had Taylor drive him to the hotel under the pretext of partying with the Spice Girls. Steve, a legend in the music industry and member of the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, had easily passed through the hotel's security. Celebrities of his stature went anywhere and did anything they pleased. He could have whatever he wanted -- except the love of Cathie, and that's what he wanted more than anything.
"What the hell are you gonna do, man?" Taylor asked, a note of rebuke in his voice, having figured out that no Spice Girls would be joining them.
"I'm gonna kill that f**king son of a b**ch, that's what I'm f**king going to do!" spat Steve in a drink-slurred English accent. "If I can't have her, f**king nobody will!"
At this point, Steve pulled a Glock 21 .45 caliber handgun from a pocket of his black leather jacket and staggered toward the door of the Honeymoon Suite.
"Are you f**king crazy, man?" exclaimed a surprised Taylor, trying to keep his voice down. It was 4 a.m. and there were other occupied rooms in the hallway. Taylor immediately realized the pointlessness of what he had said. Of course Steve was crazy; he'd thrown sanity aside long ago like a cast-off pair of socks. Famed as the craziest heavy metal monster of all time, he never performed a concert without demanding that the crowd get crazy with him. What was utterly amazing to Taylor and the rest of the world was how Steve had managed to stay alive all these years after everything he'd done. He was the first man to be forever banned from the Betty Ford Clinic as a hopeless case after being caught throwing a party on the grounds for the other patients with booze and drugs he'd smuggled in. Every two months, he had to have his blood replaced, like an oil change. He begged Keith Richards for his liver if he died before him!
Now Cathie had married Antonio, and the smile Steve wore at the wedding reception was because he knew that later he would take his revenge.
Taylor was younger, stronger, faster, and smarter than Steve, and yet he didn't go near him. It was as dangerous as being around a certified psychotic mental patient with a loaded gun. After all, the only reason Steve wasn't sitting straitjacketed in a mental ward was due to his celebrity and fortune.
Steve tried the door handle. It was, of course, locked. Frustrated, and lacking a better vocabulary, he started yelling, "OPEN THIS F**KING DOOR YOU F**KS!!"
Taylor could see that Steve was out of control, and took off running towards the hotel desk for help. As well as he knew Steve, and as much as he loved him as a friend, Taylor knew that with Steve waving a gun, in a drunken rage, anything could happen.
Because he'd seen it on TV and in movies, Steve started blasting the lock with the gun. The shots rang out like explosions in the hotel's quiet hallway. Steve kicked in the door, turned on the lights and staggered into the room, pistol raised...
