I have received lots of wonderful letters from kids all over the world and this is very encouraging. It drives me to make this site the best it can be.

One question that is often asked in correspondence is "How can I help the whales? . . . Well Kids, Here are a few things that you can do!

The Whale Edventures

Good luck

Presented by Ms. Sharon Tuchek and her 4th graders in LeRoy, Illinois, USA
Our adventures concern the environment and the animals and plants that live on this planet

Visit Snowpuss and Gidley

Join us on a series of adventures with dolphins, whales, koala's, owls, native birds, wild horses, eagles and all sorts of Australian Fauna. The adventures take you from the bush to the Reef, introducing the reader to a wide variety of Australian and endangered species. In these pages we will hopefully be able to answer questions about our environment.

If you really care about Whales then pick a whale topic of concern to you and draw a picture in colour or black & white about your topic and mail it to:

Whales on the Net
P. O. Box 224
Willoughby 2068
AUSTRALIA

If you can get your drawing digitised (scanned) into the computer then you can email it to me at:

gclarke@magna.com.au

Every drawing I receive will be put here on this page for everyone in the world to see.

Discovery School Online Guide

And folks, these kids care so get out your wallets and your purses and donate a little for these kids. I'll acknowledge all donations and list them here. Everything received for the kids will be awarded as a prize for the best drawing and hopefully some of them will be encouraged to continue caring. Maybe we can start with a yearly prize but who knows we may get to monthly prizes one day.

Our site has been selected as a valuable internet resource for Discovery Channel School's Ultimate Guide to Animals Program for Spring'98
