How to update the anti-virus database

The program can initiate the updating process, whether scheduled or on-demand, only if your computer is connected to the Internet. Otherwise the updating process cannot be performed.

In order to download anti-virus database updates on demand,

use the Update now link in the left section of the Protection tab or a link located within the text of an information message about the necessity to perform updates in the right section of the tab.

In order to set up a schedule for regular anti-virus database updating,

Follow the Configure Updater link in the left section of the Settings tab.
After the Updater settings window opens, check the Enable automatic updates box.
Select the required value from the Update frequency drop-down list.
