Settings tab

Using the Settings tab you can evaluate and customize both the standard and advanced settings to ensure smooth performance of Kaspersky Anti-Virus.

The Settings tab

The right section of the tab displays the current settings for real-time anti-virus protection, on-demand scans, and automatic updating of the anti-virus database and application modules. It also gives detailed comments and tips from Kaspersky Lab on how to customize these settings. For example, if you manually updated your anti-virus database in the past, you will be prompted to schedule automatic updates.

By clicking links located in the left section of the Settings tab, you can edit the parameters for real-time protection, on-demand scans, and anti-virus database updating.

Here you can also customize parameters related to the quarantine where suspicious objects are placed. Finally you can customize additional settings by following the link Additional settings.
