Installing HTTP Monitoring Tool

HTTP Monitoring Tool is not installed by the Windows 2000 Resource Kit setup program. To install it, use the following procedure:

To install HTTP Monitoring Tool

1. Insert the Windows 2000 Resource Kit companion CD into your CD-ROM drive.
2. When the Setup screen appears, click Explore the CD.
3. In the <cdroot>\apps\httpmon directory, double-click setup.exe.
4. Follow the directions that appear on your screen.

Once you have installed HTTP Monitoring Tool, see the Readme file (Readme.txt) and User's Guide (HTTPMon_whitepaper.doc) for information on configuring and using the tool. These files are both located in the directory where you installed the tool (C:\Program Files\Httpmon in the default installation).
