Installing Drive Share

Drive Share must be installed on each Terminal Server, and on each computer that is to be a Terminal Server client.

Installation on Terminal Services Server(s)

If you also want to run File Copy (Rdpclip.exe), it must be installed first. Otherwise, rdpclip.exe must be reinstalled after installing Drive Share.
  1. Copy the file drmapsrv.exe to the System32 folder in your Winnt directory.
  2. Run the following to setup the Registry keys: 
    drmapsrv.reg

Installation on Terminal Services Client(s)

  1. Copy the file drmapclt.dll to the Terminal Server Client installation folder. By default, this is C:\Program Files\Terminal Server Client. This will be the same folder which contains the file mstsc.exe.
  2. Run the following to setup the Registry keys: 
    drmapclt.reg
