[About The Guide]
You can set a DOS environment variable to override the dictionary
path for each database name. i.e. To override the location of
ADDRESS.DBF, set a DOS environment variable as follows....
C:\> SET ADDRESS=C:\NEWPATH\
(The use of the trailing backslash is extremely important.)
Using environment variables can make a big difference for users on
a network, etc. who have the possibility of having different paths, etc.
You can also set an environment variable to indicate where the data
dictionary is located. i.e. SET DATADICT=D:\DATADICT\
