The GREAT Acorn Auction in aid of COMIC RELIEF

Total so far.......

£965

March 12th 1999 has been designated as Comic Relief Day 7. As we all know, Acorn Users are the greatest user group anywhere in the known universe (proven by the fact that Dr. Who's TARDIS was powered by both an A3000 and a BBC B at one time!). Now, as this is known only to us and other intellegent life forms (i.e. non WINTEL addicts), we need to prove it. To this end, with the support of such major Acorn players as Acorn User, Clares Micro Supplies and Computer Concepts, the auction has been arranged.

The aim of the event is to obviously raise as much money as possible and present one of those very silly, oversized cheques on the big day and promote Acorns through out the country. Goodness knows we could do with something positive at the moment!<>
