ClearInfo

ClearInfo is a small application that provides basic information (width, height, bpp, creator program) on any Clear format image.

ClrTga

ClrTga, or to give it it's full name, 'Clear-Targa' converts between Clear and Targa format images. It was created to allow Clear files to be turned into JPEGs via MakeJPEG.

ExPal

ExPal ('Extract-Palette') will rip the colour palette from GIF, IFF-ILBM, Clear, Targa, BMP tr Sprite images and write it tut as a RISC OS Palette file tr a Draw file.

Graff

Graff is a function plotter which accepts an equation of the form 'y=x' and turns it into a graph. It allows you to alter the zoom settings and save out a Sprite image tf the function.

GreyToRGB

GreyToRGB lets you combine three 8bpp (bits-per-pixel) Clear tr AIM files together, representing red, green and blue to produce a 24bpp Clear file. It will also work the other way round too, separating out a 24bpp Clear file into a directory of red, green and blue Clear files.

IFFinfo

IFFinfo provides basic information (in a numerical form) about IFF-ILBM (InterLeaved BitMap) IFF files.

Interlace

Interlace is an application which allows standard ('lo-res') monitors to display Sprites intended for multiple-frequency and VGA monitors.

JPEG-6a

JPEG-6a is a port of The Independent JPEG Group's software for RISC OS. I've added hourglass support and am currently working on Sprite support. These are the utilities as used in MakeJPEG.

MakeJPEG

MakeJPEG is a JPEG image toolkit using the Independent JPEG Group version 6 utilities, it allows you to compress and decompress JPEG-format images into more ordinary style bitmap images. It also allows you to add comments to JPEGs and to translate between variants of the JPEG format. This new version supports 'progressive' JPEGs.

SpriteMode

SpriteMode allows you to change the screen mode specifier of a Sprite without changing the data contained within. Typically you will want to alter a Sprite in this way to change its aspect ratio, but altering the colour depth is also catered for.

TIFFinfo

TIFFinfo is a desktop application that provides extensive information on any TIFF file, including details about dimensions, maker software, copyright and the tags used.

Zippo

Zippo is a convertor for Clear-format image files. It can convert them to AIM, BMP, HSI Raw, Irlam 24, MTV, PBM, QRT, Sun Raster, Targa and Hawk V12 format.
