Metrics

The process itself is often not adaptable. And many items that are dependent upon the process, e.g., Quality of Service and Customer Satisfaction, Time To Market, and Cycle Time, are measured but not linked to the reuse process. Also, there are very few metrics that measure reuse of material other than lines of code. Additionally, metrics are needed to better measure quality, time to market, and cycle time reduction attributable to reuse.
