Conclusions

In the plenary session there were several questions regarding the novelty of the method. Though we found little on process reuse in the archival literature, Martin Griss and Maggie Davis thought that similar work has been done at Hewlett-Packard and in the DoD STARS effort. Maggie pointed out that both the reuse and process thrusts of STARS have advocated that reuse of processes is extremely important.

The working group's conclusion was that the method was significant and workable, but needed further validation studies.
