Coupling of representation to Assumed "Space" of the Domain

We have noted that some views of what a domain is locate it firmly in the problem and/or solution space. Different representations may be useful only assuming the domain is associated with one or the other of these "spaces" (see Domain Model Beliefs above). For example, an AI system might provide a representation for modeling real-world actors and events, based on the assumption that "the domain = the real world." This representation would not work well for a reuse-oriented project that required modeling of alternative algorithm implementations in a computational domain.
