CD Gate is a CD Player which displays titles, songs, movements, composers, performers, etc... and manages your collection of CDs:

• CD Gate can play any CD as long as it contains at least ONE audio track.
• Important: CD Gate can do a fuzzy search of CD ID Numbers to allow for the fact that the same CD may provide a slightly different CD ID No. from one CD drive to another.
• CD Gate facilitates the entry of the data describing the CD's contents:
  • Various genres are supported:
    • Classical, Opera, Leaders, Sacred
    • Pop/Rock, Jazz, Anthologies
    • Litterature, Theatre, Readings, Poetry
    • Etc.
  • Composers (& Lyricists):
    • A large database of classical composers is included
  • Main Titles (Symphony, Concerto, Opera, Album, Play, etc.)
  • Track Titles (Movement, Aria, Song, etc.)
    • Auto-Movement Numbering for classical CDs

Note that cd_gate.exe (the installation kit) does NOT contain vbrun300.dll. (Most of you already have this. If not, click vbrun300.zip to get it. (vbrun300.dll must be placed in the \windows\system subdir.)

Once downloaded, run cd_gate.exe to install the software (cd-gate.exe). Then delete cd_gate.exe (with the underscore) from your hard disk to regain the space. Keep CD-GATE.EXE (with the dash): that's the real executable program!
