                he called me an angel
             because he could see my wings
            he told someone special who i was
       he told him to look for the outspreading wings
             upon my back that hold me up
            sweet dark gothic little angel

          then one day a fallen angel took aim
               at me with a shotgun
             i fell and he took a knife
        watching in horror i cried heavenly tears
             as he tore apart my wings

        he and she tried to help my wings heal faster
             and then she called me an angel
                but not just an angel
                         no
            she called me the angel of death
