Embedded Engine is the nucleus product in a line of persistent data management solutions from SOLID. The product is a standalone embeddable data engine that manages local persistence, providing a framework for critical data accessibility. The ciritcal success factors of persistent data store include: easy to embed, effortless to distribute, carefree to administer and invisible to the user. Embedded data store used in managing system intelligence must also deliver industrial strength concurrency control, high performance and support for data management and networking standards.

SynchroNet is a superset of the SOLID Embedded Engine platform. SOLID SynchroNet reliably and efficiently synchronizes and manages the consistency of system intelligence in a networked infrastructure. SOLID SynchroNet enables data persistence within a distributed network infrastructure and maintains synchronization of these data stores at multiple levels within the network, enabling networking device and software manufacturers to build centralized management, tiered management, infrastructure systems, and access points which ensure that consistent application data and metadata are propagated throughout the network in a fail safe and redundant fashion.
