Cedar Waxwing

Especie crestada de plumaje pardo claro, con peque±as puntas cerosas color rojo en algunas de las plumas de las alas. Tama±o: 16 cm.; peso: 33-35 g. Audio (M. Oberle). Anida en el norte de Estados Unidos y el sur de Canadß, invernando desde el sur de Estados Unidos hasta AmΘrica Central. Accidental en Puerto Rico en ßreas costeras, jardines, bosques secos y humedales (por ejemplo, en febrero de 1999 en Culebra).

TAXONOMÍA: PASSERIFORMES; BOMBYCILLIDAE. Esta ave ha sido llamada Picotera.
