Hudsonian Godwit

Limosa haemastica

Limφcola grande y gris de cola negra, rabadilla blanca y pico curvado hacia arriba. En plumaje de reproducci≤n dorsalmente es pardo moteado y por abajo es pardo rojizo. Tama±o: 36-42 cm.; peso: 196-358 g. Anida en la tundra de Alaska y el norte de Canadß, invernando en la Argentina. En Puerto Rico, una especie rara durante la migraci≤n oto±al (por ejemplo, un avistamiento en la Reserva Natural Ca±o Tiburones, el 31 de octobre de 2003).
