Length: 17-20 cm.; weight: 34-50 g.

RANGE: Breeds on tropical and subtropical islands, e.g. Madeira, the Galapagos. Roams warm waters such as the Gulf Stream. Accidental in the West Indies (Cuba and the Bahamas, e.g. Abaco Island 11 May 2001), but may be reported from Puerto Rico eventually.
