8:00 Pick-up from Alice Springs accommodation in a high quality 22 seater Coaster bus.
8:30 Arrive Aboriginal Art & Culture Centre, Alice Springs, 86 Todd Street
Transfer by bus (approx. 15 minutes, 20 kms) north of Alice Springs to our unique nature walk
9:00 A brief bushwalk to illustrate the relationship between Aboriginal people, the dreamtime, land and art. Learn about desert living, survival and bushtucker. The walk is approx. 1.5 km and very comfortable and interesting. On most days we see the many kangaroos, lizards and birdlife who live in this natural setting.
10:30 Arrive at our bush centre where you can share "billy" tea and cooked bush bread (damper).

DESERT PARK TOUR
1:30 Travel to Desert Park
Our Aboriginal tour guides will then escort our visitors through spectacular habitats, surrounded by birds and other animals of the Australian deserts; experience "a night in the desert", where endangered rarely seen animals come to life (in a nocturnal house); free flying desert birds of prey; and a state-of-the-art big screen film and interactive displays.
4:30 We then return to the Aboriginal Art & Culture Centre or your accomodation.
5:00 Visitors have the option ($10) participate in our Didgeridoo School. In an action packed one hour, we guarantee that we can teach you how to get a sound out of the world's oldest and most fascinating musical instrument. We will also show you how they are made, played and what to look for when purchasing. Lots of good music and FUN.
