AIATSIS Aboriginal Australia Wall Map (Folded Version)
HORTON, David (Editor)

This map introduces three broad areas of interest to the enthusiast: language, tribal and nation groups of the Indigenous people of Australia. The map has been developed from The Encyclopaedia of Aboriginal Australia, a multi award winning publication. At the time of its publication in 1994, all published resources were used to represent the various language groups of the Indigenous people of Australia.

The map is an important introductory point to the complexity of Aboriginal Nations and can truly broaden your understanding of an Australia you may have never known. A set of 18 regions was mapped and the location of some historic and other sites are included. This approach has been utilised to aid International understanding.

Horton's map provides a visual summary of the detailed information described in the Encyclopaedia, and is a perfect companion to it. This map of Aboriginal Australia is ideal for educational purposes.

Open Size: 120cm x 85cm (48" x 34")
