The Basil Family are a mid spring to mid autumn taste treat. Their frost tenderness make them a challenge to grow outside this time frame. They are characterised by their intense spicy aromas of cloves, aniseed, citrus and cinnamon.
Superb in Mediterranean and South East Asian cuisines. Great for summer salads, tomato dishes, pesto sauce, pasta and stir fries.
