An Amazon Adventure
Just as I was beginning to feel cocky about my own site . . . I discovered this brillant site with a very similar name and nature to mine. It is put together by a US-based teacher and high school students. Well worth a visit. Each article is researched and written by high school students, resulting in an easy to read (and quite entertaining) view of the Amazon, its animals, and environment. Includes some interesting virtual tours.
