re: aspertame. About 5 or 6 years ago, just after it came on the market, one of the progressive magazines, MOTHER JONES, I think, or perhaps THE PROGRESSIVE, did an investigative report. Of special interest, as I recall, was the way Monsanto did some dirty dancing on the research AND with the FDA. Both magazines are webbed. Try Lexus/Nexus. Or they may respond with their index, directly. There IS dirt on Asp.
