Being from England I can tell you that the consumption of beef has dropped dramatically since MCD came up. Being a veggie, it didn't effect me, but I'm still horrified about the man-made screw-up. Cows are veggies, and they lived happily this way for thousands of years until greedy man came along and decided to feed these innocent creatures ground up sheep parts in their food, (so they could fatten them up quicker and make more money). Which is how the cows contracted the disease. Then to make matters worse, England took so long in 'deciding' what to do about this hideous occurence that so many cows had to be distroyed, then we were meant to feel sorry for the poor farmers who lost lots of money. Well I say it serves you right. Love animals DON'T EAT THEM! None.
