Do they have mad cows disease in kosher beef or Israel

I am wondering if the Kosher beef people in Israel have any mad cows disease?I do not believe you can use sick animals in the Kosher system?I would appreciate any knowlege on that subject. Organic and kosher would probably be a safe bet. What are your views?Daliya
