: I AM CURIOUS AS TO WHY THEY PUT SO MUCH SALT ON THE FF? IF I HAD HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE I SURE WOULD NOT EAT THOSE FF. BUT I DON'T HAVE IT. I MIGHT GET IT IF I KEEP ON EATING THOSE FF. THERE'S TO MUCH SALT "ENOUGH TO KILL A HORSE". AND IT IS AT DIFFERENT MCDONALD'S RESTUARANTS THAT I GO TO.I think you have your priorities mixed up (and your caps lock key stuck). The evidance about the dangers of salt is quite debateable. Most experts believe a high sodium diet is harmful to only a small percentage of the population (15% is commonly mentioned). While people who do wish to cut salt often start with the salt shaker, added salt accounts for only a small amount of sodium intake. Most is already in foods such as prepared soups, pop, canned veggies/beans, dairy products etc. If your concerned about your health, I'd forget abot worrying over a bit of salt and take a look at the fat/saturated fat content of McDonald's food. Theres no debating the harmfullness of that.
