Ok, Mr. Sprout, sorry I jumped the gun like that with the above. I can assure you that I don't fuck around with other peoples' names and handles on these boards. With me what you see is what you get. The above post was intended as a witty anecdote (if that's the right word) to whoever this mysterious gremlin is. Although I do agree with Quincunx this does get to be a pain in the ass.
I have been known to joke a bit in my posts (reference the recent one in "Anything" regarding cows, methane, and global warming), but I don't do nuisance shit like this.

It is quite possible that there is no impersonator. The software that runs this board is prone to mess up on occassion - especially when the indexes grow to large or when more that one person is validating messages at the same time. It is therefore possible that the name field was corupted or something. Such problems did happen quite often when we first started the debating room but we haven't noticed it happen for ages.
