i┤m a marketing student currently living in a little town in Sweden.Mcd┤s here sets the rules for fast food. The american way of life is seen here as a synonimus of McD┤s.

experience#1:Local entertaiment for any night here close sharply at 2:00 a.m. due to state rules. But fast food restaurants does not. They close one hour later. So you can imagine the avalanche of people that burst the qeues to get a Macmeal.

The service goes down in the same rate as people get in.
Just one single worker to clean time to time results in floor, walls, seats stained with ketchup, cocacola and rests of food. Treys and frenchfries thrown over the place. Really, the first time a saw this I was so disgusted that I have to leave the place not just before some person in the second floor in order to seat he/she throw the trey that was in the chear and almost it a friend that was just in the way!

Clearly something is not working good.
THat is the price for low cost competition?

Experience#2:This happened in Chile. We went with some friends to a near Burger King┤s restaurant after some day of sports, we were tired, but not enough to surprise with the special 'gift', our orders of the brand new promo, the bacon burger, was carrying. As my fellowmate gave the first bite, from the lettucce that fall in the plate a WORM start wriggling from it!
We complain, but the only thing they did after trying to talk with the local manager, was to offer us a soft drink and some fries!
So choose better before deciding.

The DESEASE of bad service is extending everywhere.Maybe this sets an opportunity to another really good fast food restaurants.
