Recent falling sales (befor the last quarter they had 6 consequetive quarters will lower North American same store sales) suggest that more closings will happen. If the entire McD's operation were to close, think of the franchise owners whose investments would be in the toilet! Even the still-successful franchises would have their lifeline cut! What about the employees: crew, supervisors, and managers? Even "shit pay" is better than none.
And what about the office and data processing staff at Corporate and Hamburger University? This meaning the secretaries, billing department staff, accounts payable staff, the computer programmers, and operators. In short, you would have numerous people in the USA, Canada, UK, and the rest of the planet out of work.
And you people claim to be SUPPORTIVE of the employees?
