Maybe not McDonalds policy, but it happens all the time Nancy. I worked at a McDonalds (location undisclosed) and I watched the owner of the franchise pick a bun off the floor that had just come out of the steamer and put it on the fish sandwich, box it and serve it. This stuff hapens but so what, I would trust the food from a chain long before I would trust the food in a corner Ma and Pa resturaunt.
