Tha Connection between McDonald's and Pond's ?Cold Cream

This is something I heard well over ten years ago and would like to bring to the attention of readers of this bulletin board. I had been
told that McDonald's sent some of their used grease to Proctor & Gamble
(I may be wrong) in order to make Pond's Cold Cream!!! That's right.
Before McSpotlight and the Internet there were some very strange rumors
regarding the origins of Pond's Cold Cream.Can anyone verify or refute this?
