McMeals in Corporate Prisons and County Jails

I remember being in a corporate prison in Houston, Texas and being fed McDonald's meals for breakfast,lunch and dinner. After I got out I found out that McDonald's had a contract with the jail in Berkeley, California doiing the exact same thing. This was in 1988.

In all my perusings of this website I must admit that I'm surprised
to not find any similar references. Can anybody out there supply a matching reference? By the way, I could stomach the McMeals but I had to play a lot of basketball to burn up the calories.
