Capitalism actively stifles creativity

Capitalism actively stifles creativity, increasing the alienation it produces. Because capitalism is geared towards prophet, it relys upon force feeding people consumer goods while at the same time making them lead thesterile lifes of work in order to survive. How can we fulfill our creative potential under these conditions?

I recomend 'Society of the spectacle' by Guy Debord and 'The revolution of everyday life' by Raol Vaniegen which deal with theorys surrounding this subject.
