Its not a matter of worth, but opportunity

You say people are not of equal worth. Does that mean one person is better then another merely because they have more rights, freedoms, or material possessions? That is not the measure of person, it is what they accomplish under the conditions that they live with. When you use the word worth, it is like saying that there are those of us, who are just born with more worth, which is totally untrue. The only thing that seperates the rich from the poor is not greater worth, but greater opportunity. If you meant to say that people do not have equal oppurtunity, then I am in totally agreement. The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. People aren't poor becuase they are stupid, or ignorant, completely far from it. I have a multitude of friends who are don't live in the upper middleclass, some are living off wellfare, does that mean I have more worth then my friends, does that mean I'm smarter. NO! it doesn't, its just that they do not have the same opportunities as I do.
My last point is, you have already determined some people as, not of equal worth or virtue. Well who determines who is worthy and who is not. Are you the final say in what is worthy, what gives you the right to say people are unworthy? None, it is no ones right.
