Polarized Debate

The debate here seems to me to be polarized betwwen the extremes of the capitalist and communist systems. Any extreme system is bound to fail as it does not allow for variation.
A mixed, socialist economy, with a good dose of pragmatism is, to my mind, a better way forward.
PS I am not saying this is a perfect system, as no system ever is!
