Brad, my dear chap,

May God Bless you richly and abundantly today.

You bring up an excellent point. That is that "few people want to believe there is no afterlife in which they cease to exist." I think you will find that as time goes on and as scientific evidence becomes more widely understood this trend will continue. In many ways anti-theist's backs are up against the wall.

When I was studying physics, I learned that the four forces (gravitational, electro-magnetic, strong-nuclear, weak-nuclear) within our three dimensional universe must come together back in time, that is, at the beginning. That moment is now observed to within 10 to the minus 37th of a second (that's a decimal point followed by 36 zeros and then a one) at the first instant. The interesting thing here is that scientists say that it requires a minimum of nine dimensions of time/space in order to accomodate these forces.

What are the implications of extra-dimensionality? Firstly, we humans don't see everything there is to see. Our universe is finite and like a fish in a fishbowl we are oblivious to extra-dimensional beings, activities, and what not, outside of our limited three dimensions of space and one dimension of time. Secondly, God, who must control these dimensions, must at least be able to operate minimally in nine-dimensional time/space, most likely infinite dimesional time/space. Thirdly, it opens up the possibilty that there can be transport between our space/time and extradimensional space/time (Stoke's Law and Green's Theorem). That is, that God's Kingdom can fully be on another time dimension(s) than ours and move us to His space dimensions which are far more greater than ours. Clearly there is more to life than meets our eyes.

Brad, thank you for bringing up this most interesting topic. Peoples' instincts, that there is life after death, are becoming more well founded in the scientific community.

God Bless you dear friend and Jesus loves you each and every moment of your life. Don't ever forget that.

"But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33
